EarthStone Conrete Works began handcrafting concrete in the Bulkley Valley during the summer of 2008. Michael Brackenhofer took the company over in the fall of 2010 from its founder Ken Bibby. Working and learning the craft from Ken in detail he continues the tradition and creates now his own designs and projects out of Smithers.
The simple beauty and touch of the end product sparked Michael’s interests in Concrete design and craftsmanship leading to an creative and artistic approach to this material with its unique design features and technical possibilities.
